A small early medieval eating/utility knife. The blade is hand forged from 1075 high carbon steel with a chiselled fuller, and etched with my maker's mark.
The handle is of a whittle tang construction, with walnut grip sandwiched by brass plates. The sheath is 2mm veg tan leather, hand tooled with a design closely copied from an original in the Museum of London.

Please note the blade on this knife is of high carbon steel, not stainless! This will patina with use and will rust if not looked after. It is definitely not dishwasher safe!
